Institution
The Design Minds, Inc., for the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy
While working for The Design Minds, Inc., I developed content for a 2,500 square foot exhibition on the life of Senator Howard H. Baker, Jr.; Tennessee politics; and the functions of U.S. government.

What I Did
Content development & exhibition writing
Researched the topics at hand to gain a better understanding for content development.
Wrote most of the exhibition script, based on an interpretive outline laid out before my arrival.
Edited the script based on comments from firm principals, client, and scholars.
Image sourcing
Sourced images for graphic panels and wall treatments, some from the Baker Center’s collections but most from outside repositories.
Negotiated and secured image rights.
Artifact sourcing
Working with Baker Center staff and firm staff, I helped select objects from the Baker Center’s collections for display.
Learned CAD software through creating case layouts.
Project management & client interface
Served as a main point-of-contact for the client.
Attended part of the exhibition installation.
The Results

During a brainstorming session over lunch, the principals of The Design Minds and I came up with a pinball-style interactive to show visitors how to pass a federal law through the different branches of government.

A portion of the finished exhibition, including images that I sourced and text that I wrote.
